A Reimagined “Zoo Amp” Experience

We’ve thoughtfully transformed our venue to offer an unforgettable entertainment experience. Enhancements include over 4000 new reserved seats, upgraded concessions, and new climate-controlled restrooms for guest comfort. Streamlined entry gates provide quicker, smoother access, while our beautifully renovated lawn showcases original stonework and improved terraced seating, ensuring great views and comfort at every event. Our backstage area now boasts state-of-the-art facilities, attracting top-tier artists from around the world. Additionally, our exclusive VIP “Glampground” provides a unique luxury experience featuring a custom Airstream bar, comfortable seating, yard games, and private restrooms.

A Rich Legacy

Established in 1935 as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project during the Great Depression, the Zoo Amphitheatre was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps using native sandstone. Workers even camped onsite, adding a personal touch to its storied history. Over the years, legendary performers such as Willie Nelson, Joni Mitchell, Grateful Dead, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, and The Eurythmics have graced our stage, embedding our venue deep into Oklahoma City’s cultural fabric.
